Reviving Spaces: Restore Your Home's Design

Whatever your stage of life, it seems we often don't have enough time to do the things that bring us restoration. The first step is identifying what type of things restore you? Is it movement or exercise, quiet time, connection with others or maybe a creative hobby? Likely each person in your home might have a different answer!

Second, think through how your home could be adapted to encourage to do the things that bring restoration to your heart and mind. We get stuck in our daily routine and often don't stop to objectively re-evaluate the best use of a room or space. Take a second look at closets, entryways, secondary bedrooms - even your dining room that you only use twice a year!

Then gather ideas (Pinterest is a great tool) or get help from a designer. Interior design is so much more than furniture and pillows - one of our primary goals to hear what's not working and help you re-imagine both function AND beauty. Lastly, establish a budget, create a plan and timeline for execution and get started!

Your home should be a place that restores beauty, order and flourishing to you and your family, so that after your re-charged, you can head back out and fulfill your purpose in this world. It doesn't require a brand new home or a huge investment - sometimes its just getting a new perspective, spring cleaning and re-organizing!
