Crafting an Urban Waterfront Retreat

What was our design philosophy behind this urban home with a waterview?

We designed this home with an incredible team which included the builder (www.brusharborhomes.com), the architect and many fabulous vendor partners. We wanted clean lines, statement design features and a cozy yet hip and modern aesthetic.

With incredible water and DC skyline views and a great downtown location, this home was designed for entertaining. The focal point of the kitchen included an oversized black reeded range hood, sleek walnut cabinetry and brass lighting. Through out the main level, we repeated varied wood elements, texture through reeded paneling and quartz slab walls and dramatic, moody colors. You all know we love all things brass! Our goal was to ensure the finish level was luxurious, top notch and unforgettable.
